As some of you may have seen, we celebrated our 6th birthday and our TTG Best Travel Agent in the East of England award at the weekend! We were grateful to have the chance to celebrate and reminisce about our journey here.
We’ve gone from ripping out carpets and scraping off wallpaper to create our vision of a little pink shop, to the shock, fear and panic of Thomas Cook’s demise, swiftly followed by Covid which of course like many others, left us uncertain about our future as a small independent business.
Although we may have faced many more hurdles than we expected to when we began Holidays By Design, we still managed to grow and expand quite literally, opening a shop in Brigg Garden Centre as well as being named the Best Travel Agent in the East of England.
To everyone who attended at the weekend, thank you. Not just for making that party so INCREDIBLE, but for supporting us through the multiple hardships we’ve had to face whilst we continued to build the BEST TRAVEL AGENT IN THE EAST OF ENGLAND 🥳🍾
And of course, we couldn’t have done it without our unbelievable team of women. There are no words to describe how grateful and proud we are of each and everyone of you. ✈️
